The card is recognized by the pc, but the problem arises when I open the Reaper and I want to choose what input is considered to record on a new track (input 1 or 2) and it doesn't let me choose it (see image 1).

I'm using the Behringer driver, and it turned out I only needed to plug in the headphones into the interface and turn up my volume knobs.I am having trouble getting my laptop to recognize the inputs on my Behringer UMC 204 HD card.

I tried plugging in my instrument cable into the Mic//Line 1 input and it caused the levels in the program to continuously flutter, but I assume its just static and not a real signal. I tried hooking up my guitar directly into the unit, but nothing happened. I know this isn't a problem with my pedal because I used that with my amp just fine. Other than messing around with the settings, I made sure that the recording was armed, the recording monitoring was working, and everything was plugged in correctly. Here's some screenshots of the different settings I tried in the preferences: I installed behringer's drivers and although I could listen to audio from the internet, there was still no sound coming from Reaper. When I got the audio interface, I downloaded the asio4all drivers, but when I adjusted the preferences in reaper, there was no input coming in and no output. I was initially planing to use my laptop's internal soundcard as an output and from there I can use my headphones (they're regular headphones not the one with the 1/4' jack) to listen to my recording. Right now, my guitar is hooked up to a multi fx pedal, which goes to my interface, which goes to my computer.

I got my behringer uphoria um2 audio interface today and I'm trying to get it set up on Reaper. I'm sure there's another question like this but I've been searching for answers for hours and I'm tired and annoyed as hell.
